Map 3D 2007 and Connecting to a ESRI Personal GeoDatabase

Are you working in a duel GIS shop with Map 3D and ESRI with a Personal GeoDatabase ? Well did you know you can use data connect to pull data from a Personal Geodatabase? Well you can with a little help from the fine folks at OSGeo.org. Thanks to Arnold Schwabe for a short document and the links  on how to get the right dll files and make the connection work. Adding the OGR FDO Providers to MAP 3D 2007

Also the the Readme that is referenced to in the document. Readme.txt

    I would appreicate a copy of the file as well. If it makes a difference I’m using Mao #D 2007 and Arcmap 9.2

    Hi I am also trying to connect to ArcGIS 9.2 “file geodatabase” with extension *.gdb. At this stage my data connection types does not include ORG FDO provider in the list. I am hoping that the ORG dll will do just that.

    can you please mail me the dll as well.

    Steve, Map3D can connect to shape files and a number of spatial databases that also work with ERSI. What type of Geodatadase do you need to connect to? Oracle, SQL, MySQL, PostGIS ?

    We just purchased AutoCAD Map 2008 so that we could use our GIS data in CAD. (We have ArcView 9.2) The solution described in your article sounds similar to what we need to made our data work. Is there anything out there for Map 2008 and can it handle ArcView file geodatabases in addition to personal geodatabases?

    When attending a one day workshop the instructor has no idea about existing a FDO for personal geodatabase or not. if there is one for AutoCAD 3D Map 2008 please forward one to my email address at
